Why quartz?

An engineered stone composed of 93% natural stone material and 7% resin, quartz is popular for its many color choices, easy maintenance and durability. Quartz is also antimicrobial, meaning that it inhibits the growth of bacteria, which makes it an excellent choice for kitchens, healthcare facilities and medical offices.

A major benefit of quartz countertops is that there’s virtually no need for maintenance. Quartz can be cleaned with warm water and mild detergent and does not require sealing. It is also one of the more durable countertop materials, offering a high scratch resistance.

Recycled glass countertops

Recycled glass countertops are becoming popular as the public becomes more aware of the environmental impact we have on the world. These countertops are very durable -- nearly as durable as granite. They are made from 85% recycled glass material and joined by concrete.

This material is made entirely in the United States. While most of the glass is generally collected from curbside recycling, some comes from windows, drinking glasses, automotive glass and even traffic light lenses. It is recommended for recycled glass countertops to be resealed yearly.
